- Replacement value of your dwelling - This includes cost to repair, replace or rebuild with like design, quality, materials and workmanship.
- Type of insurance purchased
- Location - Some neighborhoods are more susceptible to particular losses such as vandalism, theft, sewer back up, etc.
- Age of dwelling - Newer homes tend to have fewer claims. Applicants with homes over 20 years of age must verify major updates to shingles, electric wiring, heating and air conditioning systems.
- Claims history - A claim discount is available for those clients with no claims for 3 or more years with continuous insurance.
- Type of heating
- Alarms - Burglary, Fire Alarm systems connected to a monitoring station may qualify you for a discount. Subject to approved alarm certificate.
